Join the Hope Inside Board

Approximately four to six hours per month for meeting preparation, Board and committee meetings, assigned work, and community engagement. Additional time may occasionally be needed for fundraising, planning, or policy review. 

Attend and prepare for meetings, review financial and program information, serve on a committee or assigned area, support fundraising and community partnerships, maintain confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest, and follow through on commitments. 

No. We welcome applicants interested in general Board membership as well as those who may consider an officer role. Prior Board experience is helpful but not required, and selected members will receive orientation. 

No. Board service is an unpaid volunteer role. Submitting an application does not guarantee appointment to the Board. 

Board members must promptly disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from related discussions or votes when required. 

Hope Inside will review your inquiry and provide the full candidate packet to qualified applicants. Selected candidates will participate in a conversation or interview before the Board makes an appointment decision. New members will then complete orientation and required documents.
